Colnaghi and Colnaghi Elliott are delighted to announce their participation in TEFAF Maastricht, 2024.
Colnaghi's stand will exhibit the very finest in Antiquities and Old Masters, along with a selection of twentieth century works. The consistently high quality for which the gallery is renowned will shine through such diverse offerings as Mario Nuzzi and Raffaello Vanni's glorious Il Trionfo di Flora (Rome, c. 1660), María Blanchard’s (1881-1932) lively Cubist Composition (1917-1918) and a magnificent Roman torso of a male divinity, thought to be Apollo and late Republic or early Imperial, dating from 1st Century B. C. – 1st Century A. D.

Colnaghi Elliott will, excitingly, be exhibiting at TEFAF for the first time this year. As typifies Colnaghi Elliott’s broad range, the works on view will span centuries (17th to mid-20th), genres and subjects. Highlights will include a jewel-like watercolour by Joseph Mallord William Turner, R. A. (1775-1851), View of Givet, on the Meuse, south of Dinant, an important and moving drawing by Henri Matisse (1864-1954) Maternité (Family by Open Window) and an intimate sketch by Edgar Degas (1834-1917), depicting one of his quintessential danseuses.
