Quarto (269 x 209 mm), pp. xii, 479, [1]; bound without 4 pp. of publisher’s advertisements at rear, as often. Engraved frontispiece, 2 engraved roundels to title page. Contemporary tree calf, rebacked to style with original spine laid down, spine ruled in gilt and with red morocco label. Near-contemporary engraved bookplate of William Downes (1751-1826), Lord Chief Justice of Ireland from 1803 to 1822. Extremities restored, light bumping and rubbing, minor foxing to otherwise fresh contents: a very good copy indeed. ¶ Cagle 556; ESTC T86996; Gabler G12120.
