From richly ornate collectors’ cabinets to the simplicity of post-war void spaces, this exhibition explored how our interaction with art and architecture has evolved over time.
The exhibition showcased a selection of exceptional Old and Modern Masterworks, including a masterpiece by the Antwerp Baroque painter Cornelis Norbertus Gysbrechts, After the Falcon Hunt. The work stands as a remarkable example of Northern trompe l’oeil painting, illustrating the rich iconography of Flemish kunstkammers.
This large-scale painting was generously loaned by the Musée d'Ixelles for the exhibition, further highlighting the quality and significance of the museum’s collection.
The exhibition was generously supported by Banque Transatlantique Belgium.
