FRIEZE Masters 2025

15 October 2025 — 19 October 2025

Colnaghi and Elliott Fine Art are delighted to be returning to Frieze Masters 2025, where they will
be exhibiting together on stand C04.

Highlights from our exceptional examples of works on paper include a pen-and-ink drawing by
Raymond Lafage (1656-1684) and a Venetian view of the Bacino di San Marco at its most vivid by
Francesco Guardi (1712-1793). Also on display is a watercolour of the ruins of the Temple of
Euromus by Jean-Baptiste Hilaire (1751-1828).

We are proud to present a complete group of Casta paintings shown together as a set, offering
viewers the chance to see the works in direct dialogue with one another.

Nineteenth-century works include a painting by J. M. W. Turner (1775-1851), shown alongside
José María López Mezquita’s (1883-1924) portrayal of a woman in elaborate costume, as well as
Orientalist examples by Marie Lucas-Robiquet (1864-1959). The diversity of early modernist
practice is reflected in our selection of works by Mollie Faustman (1883-1966) and Suzanne Fabry
(1904-1985), alongside a still life by Gussy Hippold-Ahnert (1910-2003).

For the first time, Colnaghi will present historical African works, including a Kota reliquary figure
attributed to Semangoy and masks and figurines from West and Central Africa.
Within the realm of Antiquities, we will be displaying a a Cycladic female figure, an Egyptian
statue, and examples of ancient Greek pottery and more.
