Colnaghi is delighted to participate in Frieze Masters 2026 with a presentation conceived in the spirit of a collector’s interior. Paintings, drawings and sculpture spanning more than two millennia will be brought together in an arrangement informed by the ways collections have historically been formed, lived with and studied.
The presentation looks beyond the divisions of period, medium and geography that organise much of art history. Its point of departure is the longstanding practice of placing works of different origins in proximity, where their individual histories remain legible even as new associations become possible.
